Job Description

Overview

  • Develop and optimize advanced electrical systems for autonomous platforms, focusing on embedded control electronics and power distribution.
  • Design and implement real-time embedded software using C++ and Python, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Lead PCB layout development, adhering to industry standards for performance and durability.
  • Perform simulations for signal integrity, thermal performance, and electromagnetic compatibility to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics seamlessly with mechanical systems and sensors.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware and firmware under real-world conditions.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and test reports.
  • Continuously innovate and enhance system designs to meet evolving performance standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and develop robust electrical systems tailored for autonomous platforms and defense applications.
  • Create and deploy real-time embedded software solutions using advanced programming languages.
  • Lead PCB design and layout efforts, ensuring optimal power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Perform system-level simulations to validate designs under operational stress conditions.
  • Conduct laboratory and field testing to refine system performance and reliability.
  • Document technical processes and outcomes comprehensively for future reference and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical design, firmware development, and PCB layout.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
  • Expertise in simulation tools for performance evaluation under stress conditions.
  • Advanced programming skills in C++ for embedded systems and Python for scripting.
  • Proven ability to integrate electronics with mechanical systems and sensors effectively.
  • Experience in designing and deploying real-time control software for autonomous platforms.
  • Familiarity with embedded Linux and RTOS environments is highly desirable.
