Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential administrative support to a benefits-focused organization, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication across departments.
  • Assist in processing pension benefit verifications, estimates, and eligibility requests with precision and attention to detail.
  • Serve as backup for Call Center Representatives, addressing customer inquiries and maintaining service excellence.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail distribution, maintaining systematic organization and inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with management on special projects, contributing to organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks, maintaining records using relevant software tools.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Support a collaborative team environment, fostering flexibility and cooperation in assignments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process pension benefit-related requests, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Provide clerical support to the Contributions Compliance Department, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Assist Call Center Representatives in resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Coordinate mail distribution processes, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
  • Collaborate on special projects with management, contributing to organizational improvements and initiatives.
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, supporting efficient record-keeping practices.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools to support administrative functions effectively.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and tasks, ensuring consistent productivity and quality outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role, with a preference for 5 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, for record-keeping and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in a professional environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations respectfully.
  • Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records using relevant software tools.
