Assistant Director of Clinical Services

Overview

• Lead clinical operations in a hybrid hospice care setting, ensuring excellence in patient care and service delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance care quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement innovative programs addressing diverse patient needs and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop, revise, and communicate clinical policies to ensure alignment with best practices.
• Educate staff on updates to procedures, compliance standards, and care protocols.
• Monitor continuity of care across departments and facilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Optimize resource allocation to meet patient care and operational requirements effectively.
• Design and implement programs tailored to specific patient populations and conditions.
• Manage staff performance, providing coaching and training for professional development.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and documentation accuracy.
• Participate in recruitment and selection processes to build a skilled clinical team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum six years of healthcare experience; ten years preferred.
• Three years of managerial or administrative experience in clinical services.
• Strong knowledge of hospice and palliative care practices preferred.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation and CMS regulations.
• Proficient in strategic planning, business, and financial management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve organizational goals effectively.
