Overview

  • Lead valuation processes for diverse securities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement advanced valuation models incorporating market trends and innovative methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex valuation challenges and optimize processes.
  • Present valuation findings and methodologies to senior stakeholders and committees effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards in all valuation practices.
  • Stay informed on market developments and integrate advanced practices into valuation processes.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation and policies for valuation procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform precise valuation of equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
  • Develop and maintain robust pricing models for diverse financial instruments.
  • Monitor market conditions and apply adjustments for liquidity and credit risks.
  • Ensure valuations comply with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during valuation reviews and audits to ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in securities valuation within asset management or investment banking.
  • Expertise in derivatives, structured finance, and alternative investments valuation.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and methodologies is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively.
