Overview
- Serve as a Product Controller in the Commercial and Corporate Banking sector, overseeing financial reporting and accounting for diverse financial products.
- Ensure accurate daily, monthly, and yearly financial reporting aligned with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze variances between projected and actual revenues, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technology, FP&A, and Front Office, to enhance financial operations.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at improving processes and driving organizational efficiency.
- Contribute to managerial profit-sharing adjustments and reporting to branches and headquarters.
- Engage in initiatives to optimize financial systems and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly P&L production and analysis for financial products.
- Conduct month-end managerial reporting and profit-sharing adjustments with branches and headquarters.
- Ensure accurate month-end General Ledger closes in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Substantiate balance sheets and assess new trades for valuation and accounting treatment.
- Provide analysis and responses to ad hoc requests from various organizational areas.
- Reengineer processes to improve operational efficiencies and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of product control experience, particularly in loan products.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in process reengineering and finance initiatives is advantageous.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy.
