Overview

  • Lead capital market initiatives for renewable and infrastructure platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to execute project and acquisition financings effectively.
  • Oversee financial modeling, diligence processes, and documentation for debt and tax equity transactions.
  • Develop financing strategies and present them to senior management for approval.
  • Mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with development timelines and funding requirements for construction and term financings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead execution of debt and tax equity financings, managing deliverables and ensuring financial close.
  • Develop and negotiate term sheets, credit agreements, and financing documents for transactions.
  • Coordinate with development teams to align financing strategies with project timelines.
  • Interface with external service providers, including banks, investors, and legal advisors.
  • Support initiatives to enhance financial management and reporting across the organization.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or investment banking; 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and familiarity with tax equity and debt structures.
  • Experience in renewable energy and existing relationships with financial institutions are advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
