  • Lead a dynamic Emergency Department, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance department performance and patient satisfaction.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring seamless workflow and patient care.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and timely care.
  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting evaluations.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to support department operations effectively.
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing guidance and support during critical situations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for administrative review and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with 5 years preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or emergency department setting.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency department operations and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
