Overview

  • Lead and oversee commercial construction projects ranging from $2M to $20M, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and maintain satisfaction.
  • Manage ground-up and renovation projects across industries such as retail, education, and manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Develop and implement detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and referral networks to drive repeat business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, promoting professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and addressing challenges.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure project specifications align with client requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing commercial projects with budgets between $2M and $20M.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects in the Greater Nashville area.
