Overview
- Direct and oversee credit operations, ensuring efficient management of syndicated loans and private credit assets.
- Provide strategic leadership to align operational activities with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Govern third-party service providers and agent bank servicing models to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop scalable operating models to support growth across diverse credit strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent interpretation of loan notices and corporate actions.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements and automation in operational workflows.
- Support technology integration initiatives to enhance operational scalability and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of robust control standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage daily credit operations, including trade processing, settlement activities, and reconciliations.
- Oversee agent bank servicing models, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate third-party service providers for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Strengthen operational controls, including reconciliations and compliance with SOX processes.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with servicing activities.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance systems and streamline workflows.
- Support portfolio activities, including restructurings, amendments, and complex credit events.
- Ensure outsourced processes align with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit operations within financial services or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of LSTA guidelines and syndicated loan servicing models.
- Experience managing agent bank servicing models and third-party providers.
- Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets effectively.
- Proven ability to strengthen controls and support investment objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
