Job Description

Overview

  • Direct and oversee credit operations, ensuring efficient management of syndicated loans and private credit assets.
  • Provide strategic leadership to align operational activities with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Govern third-party service providers and agent bank servicing models to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop scalable operating models to support growth across diverse credit strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent interpretation of loan notices and corporate actions.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements and automation in operational workflows.
  • Support technology integration initiatives to enhance operational scalability and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of robust control standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily credit operations, including trade processing, settlement activities, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee agent bank servicing models, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate third-party service providers for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Strengthen operational controls, including reconciliations and compliance with SOX processes.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with servicing activities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance systems and streamline workflows.
  • Support portfolio activities, including restructurings, amendments, and complex credit events.
  • Ensure outsourced processes align with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit operations within financial services or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of LSTA guidelines and syndicated loan servicing models.
  • Experience managing agent bank servicing models and third-party providers.
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets effectively.
  • Proven ability to strengthen controls and support investment objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
