Overview

  • Lead IT operations to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure supporting organizational goals and growth.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Oversee IT service desk operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality support for users.
  • Drive strategic IT projects, including system upgrades and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, optimizing IT services and technologies.
  • Support budget planning and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and mentor IT teams, promoting a culture of ownership, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Ensure infrastructure uptime, scalability, and reliability across facilities and cloud environments.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity tools, protocols, and practices.
  • Manage IT service desk operations, monitoring performance metrics and driving improvements.
  • Analyze incident trends to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate purchasing, licensing, and vendor evaluations for IT services and technologies.
  • Maintain compliance with IT governance, change management procedures, and industry standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure platforms, cybersecurity practices, and ITSM tools.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft Azure Administrator.
  • Experience with ERP systems and security frameworks is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple workstreams effectively.
  • Background in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
