Overview

  • Lead strategic analysis and execution of private credit investments for a prominent financial services organization.
  • Develop financial models, coordinate due diligence, and prepare investment materials with precision and insight.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial and market data to assess credit risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain transaction-level financial models for underwriting and scenario analysis.
  • Coordinate diligence efforts across financial, operational, and legal workstreams for thorough evaluations.
  • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and presentations for informed decision-making.
  • Design scalable reporting and performance-monitoring frameworks for portfolio companies.
  • Oversee post-closing portfolio monitoring, including financial and collateral metrics tracking.
  • Support initiatives to standardize underwriting and portfolio-management processes for efficiency.
  • Leverage industry networks to source investment opportunities and strengthen professional relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA certification preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in private credit, structured finance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction execution.
  • Experience with asset-backed lending or structured credit is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and execution-driven, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable managing extensive borrower-level data and operational metrics.
