Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage carrier relationships, including performance assessments and contract negotiations for optimal service delivery.
- Create and implement load schedules, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines and operational efficiency.
- Monitor tracking reports daily to ensure accurate order fulfillment and address discrepancies promptly.
- Issue and reconcile invoices, resolving discrepancies and maintaining compliance with billing standards.
- Analyze profit and loss data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address logistics-related inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update rate charts and communicate changes effectively to customers and stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of logistics policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP B1 for invoice management and data analysis is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including data navigation, analysis, and interpretation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in food logistics or third-party logistics (3PL) operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to enhance logistics strategies and operations.
