Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to pre-construction planning, execution, and project close-out activities.
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges, and implement solutions to maintain efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and coordinate MEP components from project inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate implementation of MEP systems.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure procurement of necessary materials and equipment aligns with project needs.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement innovative practices for project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of MEP coordination experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills for team and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
