Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage fund accounting operations, including NAV reporting, capital calls, and investor communications.
- Coordinate audits and tax filings with external auditors and advisors ensuring compliance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including board presentations.
- Assist in budget development, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
- Support subsidiaries' accounting processes and prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation projects to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including audit exposure and consolidations.
- CPA certification strongly preferred for advanced financial expertise.
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, FASB, and ASC 958 guidelines essential.
- Experience in nonprofit and investment fund accounting highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
