Overview

  • Drive financial operations for a leading organization focused on impactful climate solutions.
  • Oversee fund accounting, reporting, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize financial strategies and processes.
  • Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives across financial operations.
  • Manage philanthropic fund allocations ensuring compliance and effective resource utilization.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities, including subsidiaries.
  • Support audits and tax filings while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting operations, including NAV reporting, capital calls, and investor communications.
  • Coordinate audits and tax filings with external auditors and advisors ensuring compliance.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including board presentations.
  • Assist in budget development, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
  • Support subsidiaries' accounting processes and prepare consolidated financial statements.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including audit exposure and consolidations.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred for advanced financial expertise.
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, FASB, and ASC 958 guidelines essential.
  • Experience in nonprofit and investment fund accounting highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
