Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory analysis with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ensure medical equipment is sterilized and examination rooms are prepared for patient visits.
- Accurately document patient data in electronic medical records systems for effective communication and tracking.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to enhance patient outcomes and care quality.
- Apply department policies and procedures effectively to complete assignments and ensure compliance.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of Medical Assistant training program preferred.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- CPR certification required; compliance with health screening programs mandatory.
- Proficiency in medication/vaccine administration and phlebotomy highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Value-Based Care, HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and patient experience metrics preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish advantageous; proficiency exam required.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, on-site.
