Overview

  • Lead nursing operations at a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center, ensuring quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee clinical departments including OR, Pre-Op, and PACU, driving efficiency and excellence in patient care delivery.
  • Implement quality improvement, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and team-oriented culture, promoting clear communication across departments.
  • Support routine surgical workflows and emergency response situations with hands-on leadership.
  • Ideal for candidates with orthopedic and spine surgery experience in outpatient surgical settings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight for OR, Pre-Op, and PACU departments.
  • Lead nursing care delivery in alignment with physician direction and facility policies.
  • Manage quality improvement, infection control, risk management, and staff education programs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to scope of practice standards.
  • Promote operational efficiency and foster a team-oriented culture.
  • Support surgical workflows and emergency response situations effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted Florida RN license required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in outpatient surgical settings, with orthopedic and spine surgery expertise.
  • Prior experience as an OR Manager or Supervisor is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated administrative and supervisory experience, with infection prevention knowledge.
  • Advanced OR certification or technical training preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
