Overview

• Lead estimation processes for design-build construction projects, ensuring accurate cost analysis and project feasibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for design-build construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to align project designs with budget constraints.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor market trends and construction costs to provide accurate forecasting.
• Ensure all estimates are prepared in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for potential projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless transition from estimation to execution.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction estimation, with 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in conceptual estimation and design-build project methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Experience with estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage estimation teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site and contribute to the establishment of new office operations.
