Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic and operational management for outpatient cardiovascular services, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance referral, procedure, and follow-up processes across multi-site clinics.
  • Drive growth strategies, including telehealth and hybrid care models, to expand access and service offerings.
  • Promote top-tier patient and provider satisfaction through service standards and equity practices.
  • Implement Lean process improvements to streamline clinic workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high-quality clinical operations.
  • Leverage technology and analytics for efficient workflows and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and manage budgets, optimizing revenue capture and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of multi-site cardiovascular clinics, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery.
  • Standardize workflows and coordinate pre-procedure workups for invasive cardiology and vascular procedures.
  • Monitor clinical quality measures and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Develop outreach programs to enhance care coordination and referral pathways.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
  • Sponsor operational readiness for new technologies and programs, aligning with strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain staff competency validation.
  • Utilize dashboards and digital tools to track KPIs and optimize clinic operations.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in cardiovascular service line operations preferred.
  • Proven financial acumen and process improvement expertise, including Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience managing multi-site clinics and cross-disciplinary teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and HIPAA compliance.
  • Preferred certifications include CMPE, FACHE, CPHQ, Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Familiarity with device clinic operations, remote monitoring, and ambulatory rhythm diagnostics.
  • EHR experience (Epic/Cerner) with clinic template design and optimization.
