Overview
- Contribute to financial reporting and accounting operations within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Gain exposure to real estate investments and multi-entity accounting processes.
- Support joint venture and corporate accounting functions with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with investment teams to ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for corporate and JV entities.
- Assist in audits, tax filings, and financial reporting for diverse entities.
- Develop expertise in GAAP principles and financial data management.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and update schedules for investments, contributions, distributions, and JV-level activity.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for joint venture entities.
- Support corporate accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash activity and prepare funding requests for disbursement processing.
- Provide documentation and support for annual audits and tax filings.
- Maintain organized accounting files and ensure accuracy across all reporting.
- Collaborate with the Controller and investment teams on ad hoc projects.
- Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; exposure to real estate preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with financial data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
