Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient conditions, documenting observations and reporting changes to physicians.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Coordinate patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions between services.
- Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support to maintain operational efficiency.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate and timely patient record management.
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify patient health needs.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Two years of experience in an ambulatory setting, such as clinics or emergency rooms.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage clinical activities effectively.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Experience in pediatric and women’s health services is advantageous.
