Job Description

Overview

  • Manage payroll operations using UKG Pro Software and Work Force Management System.
  • Ensure accurate processing of bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for employees.
  • Maintain and update employee deductions, direct deposits, and tax information.
  • Verify Home Care Payroll visits using Continulink Scheduling System.
  • Reconcile tax and wage payments post-payroll processing with ADP systems.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special payroll initiatives and projects as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process payroll using specialized software and manage time and attendance systems.
  • Update employee payroll information and manage garnishments and deductions.
  • Distribute payroll registers and reconcile payroll data accurately.
  • Address payroll inquiries and provide professional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Assist with wage verification requests and subpoenas efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize payroll processes.
  • Support ad hoc payroll initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or pursuing degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of one year payroll/accounting experience; two years preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of payroll terminology and processes essential.
  • Experience in customer service and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Capacity to learn and utilize automated payroll database systems.
