Overview

  • Join a leading financial services firm as a Senior Accountant specializing in international entities.
  • Contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial data through meticulous accounting practices.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to manage global financial operations and compliance.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and create complex models.
  • Ensure adherence to international financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead audits and reporting processes for multiple foreign entities.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes for international operations.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations in multiple currencies to maintain financial consistency.
  • Provide guidance and support during internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance for multiple foreign entities.
  • Prepare journal entries, monthly financial statements, and annual audit reports.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes effectively.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes for international operations.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations in multiple currencies.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT, GST, and consumption tax returns for compliance filings.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures across foreign entities.
  • Provide leadership and initiative in managing new accounting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of accounting and/or audit experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including foreign exchange accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Smart View is a plus.
  • Experience in preparing tax returns and compliance forms for international entities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
