Job Description

Overview

  • Lead dynamic commercial construction projects, including ground-up developments and interior renovations, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
  • Supervise diverse project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and progress, implementing strategies to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address challenges during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations, focusing on municipal, K12, and civic projects.
  • Utilize estimating expertise to provide accurate cost projections and support decision-making processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members to foster collaboration and project success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve objectives within constraints.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and addressing challenges.
  • Lead project meetings to promote communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold construction standards and ensure project excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating practices, with the ability to provide accurate cost projections.
  • Experience managing municipal, K12, or civic construction projects is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee project execution directly.
