Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the Private Client Services division, driving strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional tax consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to expand the firm's client base and service offerings.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and optimizing client outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team, mentoring staff for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee compliance reviews and approve tax returns for high-net-worth clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Lead consultations on tax planning strategies, leveraging expertise to maximize client benefits.
  • Develop proposals to attract new clients and expand the firm's market presence.
  • Supervise client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service quality.
  • Mentor and evaluate senior staff, promoting skill development and career advancement.
  • Drive special projects and initiatives to achieve strategic organizational goals.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
  • Monitor industry developments to provide proactive advice and solutions to clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or related field is required.
  • CPA or JD certification is mandatory for this position.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive tax experience, with a focus on compliance and consulting.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and training staff.
  • Proven ability to acquire clients and expand a book of business.
  • Expert knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting high-net-worth individuals.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and manage teams effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.
