Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions, ensuring effective treatment plans.
  • Lead clinical meetings and huddles to address operational and patient care priorities.
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and transitional care teams for seamless patient care coordination.
  • Mentor and coach primary care providers to achieve clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement strategies for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support recruitment efforts for clinical staff and patient membership growth initiatives.
  • Ensure timely documentation and adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active licensure in the state of employment.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare documentation systems.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and coaching clinical teams.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
  • Commitment to maintaining board certification and completing required CME activities.
