Overview

  • Deliver exceptional primary care services, focusing on holistic health and personalized patient outcomes in a collaborative healthcare setting.
  • Work onsite Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced schedule with no weekend or after-hours requirements.
  • Engage with diverse patient populations, addressing acute and chronic health needs comprehensively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, to enhance patient care and support.
  • Manage a manageable patient panel, ensuring quality care and fostering strong patient relationships.
  • Utilize advanced technology for efficient documentation and care coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with diverse health needs, ensuring effective treatment and management plans.
  • Lead a dedicated care team, including medical assistants and coordinators, to optimize patient support and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with hospitalists and specialized care teams for patients requiring advanced interventions.
  • Document patient interactions and care plans with precision and efficiency using healthcare systems.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to compliance and quality care standards.
  • Maintain board certification and fulfill continuing medical education requirements to uphold professional standards.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Practitioners, ensuring accountability and effective teamwork.
  • Actively support the operational management and strategic goals of the medical center.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is required.
  • Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one within the designated timeframe.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AMA or ARC within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare software applications.
  • Strong dedication to patient care, quality improvement, and professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Willingness to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment activities.
