Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive care for patients, addressing both acute and chronic conditions effectively.
- Supervise and mentor primary care physicians, fostering professional growth and clinical expertise.
- Lead clinical meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment within the team.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize center performance and drive membership growth.
- Recruit, train, and retain clinical staff to maintain a high-performing healthcare team.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with standards.
- Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through effective care coordination and communication.
- Participate in regional and national training programs to stay updated on best practices.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active state licensure required.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 10 years preferred for senior-level expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare documentation systems essential.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop clinical teams.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
- Commitment to maintaining board certification and engaging in continuing medical education.
