Overview

  • Lead clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Provide direct patient care while supervising and mentoring primary care physicians to achieve clinical excellence.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance center performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Engage in recruiting and training initiatives to build a strong and cohesive clinical team.
  • Promote a positive clinical culture and synergy between operations and healthcare delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations while driving continuous improvement.
  • Participate in clinical meetings to foster collaboration and innovation in patient care strategies.
  • Support center management in achieving both operational and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients, addressing both acute and chronic conditions effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor primary care physicians, fostering professional growth and clinical expertise.
  • Lead clinical meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment within the team.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize center performance and drive membership growth.
  • Recruit, train, and retain clinical staff to maintain a high-performing healthcare team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with standards.
  • Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through effective care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in regional and national training programs to stay updated on best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active state licensure required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 10 years preferred for senior-level expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare documentation systems essential.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop clinical teams.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
  • Commitment to maintaining board certification and engaging in continuing medical education.
