Job Description

Overview

  • Design and implement advanced cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise systems and sensitive data from evolving threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security architecture and governance practices.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring swift and effective threat mitigation.
  • Optimize and administer security tools including SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts to strengthen security posture.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Provide technical expertise in safeguarding data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Create and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor and analyze security events using advanced tools, ensuring timely incident response.
  • Investigate and manage cybersecurity breaches, coordinating forensic and recovery efforts.
  • Develop and refine tactical response strategies for emerging threats.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Administer and enhance cybersecurity tools to align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security measures and frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with external security providers and vendors.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on security metrics and risk assessments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations; 9 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in SIEM and EDR tools for threat detection and response.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or cloud security certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and endpoint security technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
