Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for investment entities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance accounting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Oversee capital structures, calls, distributions, and valuation activities for investments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data for investment entities.
  • Address client inquiries with expert solutions and guidance on accounting matters.
  • Analyze and review investment capital structures and associated financial data.
  • Manage capital calls, distributions, and valuation activities effectively.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and client reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct technical research and apply US GAAP to complex accounting scenarios.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high-quality output and productivity.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to optimize systems and implement best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in private equity accounting or related field.
  • Preferred 15 years of experience in fund administration and investment accounting.
  • Proficiency in applying US GAAP standards for investment entities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.
  • Ability to work remotely using advanced technology effectively.
  • Knowledge of private equity investment structures and reporting requirements.
