Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering their development and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Monitor and manage security operations, responding to incidents and mitigating vulnerabilities promptly.
- Ensure optimal configuration and utilization of cybersecurity tools to enhance organizational resilience.
- Collaborate with departments to enforce security policies and conduct regular compliance audits.
- Identify cybersecurity risks and lead remediation efforts following assessments and audits.
- Develop and deliver presentations on cybersecurity updates and strategies to leadership and committees.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity experience, including 2 years in managerial roles.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Purview, SentinelOne, and Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic oversight and decision-making.
- Prior experience in financial services, particularly broker-dealer operations, is preferred.
