Job Description

Overview

  • Lead CLO reporting and operations within the Private Fund and CLO Operations team.
  • Collaborate with traders, client support, and financial institutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain proprietary models for CLO testing and trade approvals.
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis to portfolio managers and trade desks.
  • Support tax reporting and compliance through meticulous data compilation.
  • Contribute to the oversight of fund operations and covenant monitoring.
  • Enhance processes and workflows within a dynamic team environment.
  • Opportunity to expand knowledge in bank loans and fixed income securities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain CLO models for testing guidelines and trade approvals.
  • Conduct pre-trade testing and approve trades using proprietary models.
  • Review and reconcile trustee payment reports and extensive data sets.
  • Provide weekly KPI snapshots and distribution analyses to stakeholders.
  • Assist in data collection for audits, due diligence, and financial analyses.
  • Maintain borrowing base files and facilitate fundings or paydowns.
  • Refresh team metrics and quarterly performance reports.
  • Ensure accurate waterfall calculations for Risk Retention vehicles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CLO reporting and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite applications.
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office, Aladdin, and Bloomberg preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing interconnected data sets.
  • Experience with legal documents such as Indentures and Credit Agreements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for client collaboration.
