Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance and driving growth initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement process improvements and optimize ERP systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide executive-level financial insights to guide organizational investments and expansion.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring precision and timeliness.
  • Develop cost accounting strategies and pricing models for competitive bids.
  • Support audits, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance to maintain organizational integrity.
  • Mentor and scale a high-performing finance team aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee vendor invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliation of outstanding bills.
  • Manage client invoicing, collections, payment applications, and receivables reconciliations.
  • Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reviews.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Drive annual budget processes and develop rolling forecasts for financial planning.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and oversee treasury operations for liquidity management.
  • Refine workflows, strengthen internal controls, and optimize ERP systems.
  • Support external audits, incurred cost submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management; 15 years preferred.
  • Expertise in FAR, DFARS, CAS, GAAP, and DCAA compliance.
  • Proficiency in Unanet ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and mentoring teams.
  • Proven ability to develop pricing models and profitability analyses.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Remote work capability with effective communication and collaboration skills.
