Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Welcome and guide patients through their medical visits, ensuring comfort and clarity throughout the process.
  • Collect and document vital patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and test results.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Manage patient communications, addressing inquiries and coordinating with pharmacies and other entities as needed.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and maintain clinical supplies inventory to support operational readiness.
  • Document clinical activities and patient interactions accurately in medical records.
  • Support specialized procedures, including ultrasounds and stress tests, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Participate in triage activities, utilizing approved guidelines to prioritize patient care effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program and an Associate of Science degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical experience, preferably in a specialized healthcare setting.
  • Certification in intravenous (IV) insertions is required for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
