Overview

  • Assist with patient rooming, vital sign collection, and updating medical histories with precision.
  • Perform injections and phlebotomy tasks, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient data management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room patients, collect vitals, and update medical histories accurately and efficiently.
  • Administer injections and perform phlebotomy tasks following established clinical procedures.
  • Input patient data into EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in clinical spaces, promoting safety and hygiene.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and procedural support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns and providing necessary information.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is optional but advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience with patient rooming, vital sign collection, and phlebotomy tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
  • Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
