Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounts payable and cash monitoring processes.
- Coordinate quarterly portfolio invoicing and monthly employee expense report processing.
- Prepare and review capital call and distribution notices for quarterly and annual reporting.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators to manage capital calls and distributions.
- Assist in tax estimate processes and annual tax reporting, including 1099s and K-1s.
- Respond to investor inquiries and audit confirmations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Work closely with compliance and investor relations teams to support reporting and regulatory processes.
- Handle ad hoc financial requests and contribute to operational improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in private equity or financial services; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QuickBooks; familiarity with financial systems advantageous.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks.
- Knowledge of tax processes, investor reporting standards, and private equity compliance.
