Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounts payable and cash monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate quarterly portfolio invoicing and monthly employee expense report processing.
  • Prepare and review capital call and distribution notices for quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Collaborate with third-party administrators to manage capital calls and distributions.
  • Assist in tax estimate processes and annual tax reporting, including 1099s and K-1s.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and audit confirmations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Work closely with compliance and investor relations teams to support reporting and regulatory processes.
  • Handle ad hoc financial requests and contribute to operational improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in private equity or financial services; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QuickBooks; familiarity with financial systems advantageous.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks.
  • Knowledge of tax processes, investor reporting standards, and private equity compliance.
  • Experience in financial reporting and operational support within private equity or similar sectors.
