Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage investment portfolio transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with portfolio management teams to model investment scenarios and modifications.
- Lead the deployment of portfolio management software, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other standards.
- Develop templates and checklists for recurring financial activities to ensure consistency.
- Analyze monthly financial results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of close processes.
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation and ensure adherence to SOX controls.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for financial planning and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience with SOX controls and compliance testing.
- Proficiency in investment accounting and loan servicing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 360 (Business Central) preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
