Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a prominent organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accounting, finance, and administrative functions.
  • Oversee financial strategy and reporting to support organizational growth and decision-making processes.
  • Manage and optimize accounting systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee financial planning, implementation, and management of accounting records and general ledger accounts.
  • Lead accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and HR functions.
  • Manage construction work-in-progress and percentage of completion reporting.
  • Ensure timely processing of financial transactions and effective cash flow management.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations with precision.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and financial processes.
  • Respond to audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation and insights.
  • Support organizational leadership with financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment within the finance department.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, HR, and administrative roles.
  • Proven expertise in construction industry accounting and job costing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing finance and accounting system upgrades.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide teams.
  • Highly organized and motivated, with a commitment to professional excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax compliance and financial regulations.
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and perform detailed reconciliations.
