Accounting Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage monthly financial close processes, including general ledger oversight and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead consolidation and intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Enhance ERP system workflows and controls in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support policies and conclusions.
• Coordinate external audits, including planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Provide variance analyses and revenue insights for monthly reporting packages.
• Lead special projects focused on process automation and operational scaling.
• Coach and develop accounting professionals, promoting a high-performance team environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in industry settings.
• Proficiency in US GAAP accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
• Experience in documenting accounting policies and technical memos.
• Ability to manage external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and scalability in accounting processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
