Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments and provide necessary education and preparation.
  • Monitor patients in the PACU, assessing vital signs and recovery progress.
  • Administer medications and IV fluids according to established protocols.
  • Identify and address post-anesthesia complications, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and clinical staff for optimal patient care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of pre-operative and post-operative care activities.
  • Maintain compliance with ambulatory surgery center policies and safety standards.
  • Support continuous education and training initiatives within the team.

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in ASC, PACU, or Pre-Op settings preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment and recovery monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and safety standards in healthcare.
