Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and oversee monthly financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial statements, identify variances, and investigate underlying causes.
  • Maintain and update analytical schedules and detailed Excel reports for process optimization.
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms on compliance, reviews, and tax preparation activities.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable teams, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
  • Implement quality control measures for financial transactions and reporting processes.
  • Assist senior management with ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred for optimal expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Experience in real estate accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
