Overview

  • Contribute to a patient-focused healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant, ensuring exceptional care and support.

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of certifications and training.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Document patient symptoms and medical history in electronic medical records systems.
  • Administer medications and vaccines following certification guidelines and protocols.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, collect specimens, and conduct phlebotomy procedures.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and equipped for consultations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Adhere to Value-Based Care principles, including coding and patient experience metrics.
  • Participate in health screening programs and comply with healthcare standards.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in patient care.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • CPR certification and compliance with health screening requirements.
  • Experience in phlebotomy and vaccine administration is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Value-Based Care principles and patient care metrics.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred; proficiency exam required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical tasks.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
