Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) with accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and investment income.
- Identify and apply tax deductions and credits to optimize savings for clients.
- Prepare Schedule C returns for self-employed individuals and gig workers.
- Input tax data and electronically file returns using professional software.
- Communicate with clients to clarify financial details and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state tax requirements.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in individual tax preparation.
- Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax, ProSeries, or Drake.
- Strong knowledge of Form 1040 and related schedules (A, B, C, D).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation.
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.
