Overview

  • Manage burn care services, ensuring excellence in patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Promote evidence-based practices and education initiatives to elevate patient and family experiences.
  • Ensure readiness for burn emergencies and disaster response protocols.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budget management, and resource optimization.
  • Contribute to policy development and community outreach to advance burn care services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring professional development and engagement.
  • Oversee daily operations, including patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Monitor infection control practices and patient outcomes to ensure compliance.
  • Address patient and family concerns, supporting education and coordinated follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure medication safety.
  • Optimize staffing efficiency and operational workflows to enhance resource management.
  • Support community outreach and education initiatives to promote burn care awareness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Current RN license with certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS and ABLS preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical experience in burn or critical care specialties.
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare settings, managing teams and operations.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and understanding of financial management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory standards in burn care.
