Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring professional development and engagement.
- Oversee daily operations, including patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Monitor infection control practices and patient outcomes to ensure compliance.
- Address patient and family concerns, supporting education and coordinated follow-up care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure medication safety.
- Optimize staffing efficiency and operational workflows to enhance resource management.
- Support community outreach and education initiatives to promote burn care awareness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current RN license with certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS and ABLS preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical experience in burn or critical care specialties.
- 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare settings, managing teams and operations.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and understanding of financial management principles.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory standards in burn care.
