Overview

  • Lead credit fund accounting operations for a dynamic financial services firm, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction in a fully remote environment.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance fund administration processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership in managing client engagements, from initial proposals to successful implementation and ongoing relationship management.
  • Ensure timely preparation and review of fund financial statements, maintaining adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Support audit processes by coordinating with auditors and ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of fund performance metrics and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for credit fund client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee staffing, training, and development to meet internal and external deliverables effectively.
  • Implement and manage partnership allocation models in accordance with agreements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate investor communications and oversee the review of investment transactions for accuracy.
  • Approve management fee calculations, invoices, and journal entries, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Review cash reconciliation processes for partnerships and portfolio companies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Calculate and analyze credit fund performance metrics, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the preparation and review of materials for audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in credit fund accounting, with a preference for 12 years in financial services or fund administration.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Investran Live, Salesforce CRM, and Intralinks, with strong technical aptitude.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fund performance metrics, financial reporting, and compliance processes.
  • Proven experience in audit preparation and maintaining productive relationships with auditors.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ability to excel in a remote work setting, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.
