- Maintain knowledge of emerging trends in healthcare technology to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Drive process improvements to optimize application services delivery across multiple projects.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of information technology professionals.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support resource planning and prioritization for effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and report operational updates to support efficient resource utilization and planning.
- Analyze current systems and procedures to develop optimized workflows and designs.
- Engage proactively with business units to support strategic goals and objectives.
- Establish end-user support service levels and report metrics to drive improvements.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to deliver high-quality services.
- Promote associate development through counseling, teaching, and role modeling techniques.
- Provide guidance on interpreting and executing organizational standards and policies.
- Travel and work outside normal hours as required for critical implementations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with 7+ years preferred.
- Proficiency in healthcare information systems, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
- ITIL certification and experience in support and delivery processes preferred.
- Strong financial skills for budgeting and managing departmental budgets.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment.
- Adaptable and collaborative approach to resource management and organizational goals.
