Overview
- The Sr. Payroll Analyst, Equity ensures compliance and operational excellence in payroll and equity compensation programs.
- This role involves managing complex payroll processes, expatriate payroll, and equity transaction taxation.
- Utilizes Oracle Fusion and Shareworks for payroll processing and system enhancements.
- Collaborates with Equity, Treasury, Payroll Tax, Accounting, and HR Operations teams.
- Supports year-end activities including W-2 processing and reconciliations.
- Ensures proper taxation and reporting of equity compensation globally.
- Develops and enhances payroll processes for efficiency and internal controls.
- Participates in special projects such as system enhancements and global payroll transitions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process and review complex U.S. payroll transactions with global considerations.
- Administer payroll for expatriates, tax equalization, shadow payrolls, and multi-country reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations.
- Process equity-related transactions including RSU vesting and stock option exercises.
- Utilize Oracle Fusion for payroll processing, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Payroll Tax and Accounting to ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
- Work cross-functionally to identify root causes of payroll system issues.
- Support internal and external audit requests and participate in special projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including U.S.-based payroll operations.
- Demonstrated global payroll experience with multi-country exposure.
- Advanced experience with Oracle Fusion payroll module.
- Proven expertise in Shareworks for audit support and payroll reconciliation.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred.
- Experience supporting year-end payroll processes and bonus cycles.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex pay data.
