Job Description

Overview

  • The Sr. Payroll Analyst, Equity ensures compliance and operational excellence in payroll and equity compensation programs.
  • This role involves managing complex payroll processes, expatriate payroll, and equity transaction taxation.
  • Utilizes Oracle Fusion and Shareworks for payroll processing and system enhancements.
  • Collaborates with Equity, Treasury, Payroll Tax, Accounting, and HR Operations teams.
  • Supports year-end activities including W-2 processing and reconciliations.
  • Ensures proper taxation and reporting of equity compensation globally.
  • Develops and enhances payroll processes for efficiency and internal controls.
  • Participates in special projects such as system enhancements and global payroll transitions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process and review complex U.S. payroll transactions with global considerations.
  • Administer payroll for expatriates, tax equalization, shadow payrolls, and multi-country reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations.
  • Process equity-related transactions including RSU vesting and stock option exercises.
  • Utilize Oracle Fusion for payroll processing, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Tax and Accounting to ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify root causes of payroll system issues.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and participate in special projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including U.S.-based payroll operations.
  • Demonstrated global payroll experience with multi-country exposure.
  • Advanced experience with Oracle Fusion payroll module.
  • Proven expertise in Shareworks for audit support and payroll reconciliation.
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred.
  • Experience supporting year-end payroll processes and bonus cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex pay data.
