Overview

  • Provide expert behavioral analysis services to children in a school setting, ensuring impactful interventions and positive developmental outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans.
  • Offer supervision and training to behavior technicians, fostering professional growth and skill development.

  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Work within Nassau County, traveling as needed to provide services in various school settings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Supervise and mentor behavior technicians, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to create effective treatment strategies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in applied behavior analysis; 2 years preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and professionals.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Dedication to improving the lives of clients and their families.
  • Ability to travel within Nassau County to provide services in school settings.
