Overview

• Lead dynamic construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee on-site operations, managing schedules, resources, and resolving challenges to maintain project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly to ensure alignment.
• Contribute to organizational success by delivering high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
• Mentor and support junior team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
• Participate in preconstruction planning and bid evaluations to ensure project feasibility and strategic alignment.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in construction practices, enhancing project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor construction progress, proactively addressing issues to maintain project momentum.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure construction meets established standards and specifications.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site, ensuring smooth operations and project efficiency.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction team to align execution strategies with initial project plans.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage projects in the $5-10M range successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and operations effectively.
• Ability to work on-site five days a week and oversee operations directly.
• Experience with public and hard bid projects is preferred.
• Vehicle provided for job-related travel and site visits.
