Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor construction progress, proactively addressing issues to maintain project momentum.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure construction meets established standards and specifications.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site, ensuring smooth operations and project efficiency.
- Collaborate with the preconstruction team to align execution strategies with initial project plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to manage projects in the $5-10M range successfully.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and operations effectively.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week and oversee operations directly.
- Experience with public and hard bid projects is preferred.
