Job Description

Overview

  • Lead architectural innovation and excellence in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to impactful projects across diverse sectors.
  • Drive technical development and ensure seamless integration of design intent throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with consultant teams, including structural, MEP, civil, and specialty disciplines, to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare and oversee high-quality construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, optimizing workflows for timely and efficient delivery.
  • Engage with clients through meetings and presentations, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, promoting professional growth and collaboration within the studio.
  • Participate in construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the architectural production process, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence throughout project phases.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines.
  • Develop and oversee construction documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with building codes.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Facilitate client meetings and presentations, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
  • Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and contribute to construction administration efforts.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio culture.
  • Ensure technical execution aligns with project goals and design intent.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience, showcasing technical and design expertise.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building codes, construction systems, and detailing is required.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary project teams effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities.
