Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and operations for a forward-thinking organization, ensuring fiscal health and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define key performance indicators and drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management to support business success.
  • Champion the integration of ERP systems with CRM and operational platforms for streamlined processes.
  • Develop pricing models and analytics to enhance strategic decision-making and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements through robust internal controls.
  • Provide strategic insights for mergers, acquisitions, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and financial accountability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Manage accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and period closes.
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to meet operational needs.
  • Implement consistent accounting policies and practices adhering to GAAP and legal standards.
  • Lead annual audits and tax preparation, coordinating with external auditors and advisors.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and optimize workflows.
  • Support acquisitions and new office expansions with strategic financial planning.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of finance management experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in construction accounting software and CRM systems is essential.
  • Experience with percent-completion accounting in construction or contracting industries.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and market expansion strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders.
